Heat-A-Lot's Effective & Durable Heating Elements

A fact that most people might not be aware of is that some portable heaters on market today - which claim to be "infrared heaters" - simply are not.

Some use heating elements which can be found in old-fashioned, conventional space heaters. Yes, the same space heaters that are so well-know for starting fires! Ironically enough, this type of element is known as "Fireless Flame" technology.

Others utilize PTC elements (called "dead short" elements) that are mainly used for drying purposes - not heating. You can imagine how your skin feels about being warmed by drying it with a dead short!

And then there are the units which claim to be "infrared heaters" because they use 1 PTC element along with 1 quartz infrared heating element. I suppose their claim is technically accurate, but it's nothing compared to the Heat-A-Lot or Comfort Furnace.

The Heat-A-Lot utilizes four (that's 4!) quartz infrared heating elements! And these heating elements are commercial grade, which means that the Heat-A-Lot's elements are effective, but that they also stand the test of time.

How long do they last exactly? They are rated to for a lifetime of at least 20,000 hours! Some of our customers have reported their heating elements far exceeding that. Like some of our competition, we could claim that the these elements will last 30,000 hours, but we feel more comfortable assuring you of 20,000 hours.

So before you buy a so-called "infrared heater" -- make sure it actually is! If it indeed does utilize quartz infrared heating elements, make sure they are as dependable and long-lasting as what you'll find in the Heat-A-Lot Infrared Furnace.

Copper-Lined Heating Chamber | Another Heat-A-Lot Technology Feature

Almost all technology features in the Heat-A-Lot Infrared Furnace are designed to make the unit more effective in heating your home, office, garage, or other space. This next feature in our series on the benefits and advantages of the Heat-A-Lot, technology-wise, is no different. And yet, there is another important aspect outside of smooth operation that make the copper-lined heating chamber important: you and your family's health.

With infrared heat, negative ions are created. The benefit of negative ions to the health of human beings and their pets is well-documented, and is now become for widely talked about in everyday life. One of these benefits is that negative ions bolster the body's immune system strength. And for the simple reason that you'll be utilizing your Heat-A-Lot during the worst cold and flu season of the year, these immune-boosting negative ions come in handy.

But what about the heating chamber makes this better? The copper which lines the heating chamber in Heat-A-Lot Infrared Heaters enhance the production of negative ions that are produced by the system.

And what about efficiency? How does copper affect this? Because of the properties inherent in the copper, the metallic lining modifies the infrared that radiates from the heating element, imparting it with a more uniform pattern at the target range. This means that the infrared warmth is perfectly optimized for heating your home when it leaves the Heat-A-Lot.

We appreciate you visiting the Mirage Infrared Heaters Blog and invite you to visit our official home on the web at MirageInfraredHeaters.com! And while you're there, be sure to visit the Comfort Furnace page to learn about another incredible portable heating solution that we offer.

Heat-A-Lot Feature: Stainless Steel Diffusion Coils

The next in our series about the features and benefits of the portable Heat-A-Lot Infrared Heater deals with its stainless steel diffusion coil. Now, we realize that it might not sound sexy to the ear, but it will feel good to the skin.

The stainless steel diffusion coil is principally given the task of diffusing the infrared heat that the Heat-A-Lot's heating element produce. If you units diffusion coils are manufactured from second-rate materials or are poorly designed, the functioning of the infrared furnace will doubtlessly be drastically less effective. In fact, during testing, the stainless steel coils used in the Heat-A-Lot were greater than 25% more effective in dispersing the infrared heat when compare to the other leading brand manufacturer’s models. This is due in large part to the fact that most of our competitor's models don't use stainless steel in the construction of their diffusion coils.

Apart from the better diffusion of infrared energy, the life span alone of the Heat-A-Lot is increased as a result of the usage of stainless steel in its construction. The figures: a remarkable 15 to 20 year life expectancy.

No doubt, it's great to have a portable quartz heater that looks fantastic from the outside - which the Heat-A-Lot does. However, it’s just as important that the kinds of materials utilized on the inside will get the job done right...not to mention stand the test of time and repeated use.

As always, we invite you to learn more about our portable quartz infrared heating products at MirageInfraredHeaters.com.

Heat-A-Lot Feature: Super Accurate Thermostat & Digital Display

In this second post of the Heat-A-Lot benefits and features series, we're going to jump into some details. The first technology feature may make for a short-but-sweet entry, however the feature itself is anything but unimportant when it comes to portable, quartz heating. We're talking about the Heat-A-Lot's super accurate thermostat.

Each Heat-A-Lot Infrared Furnace comes standard with an astonishingly precise thermostat. The reason this model's thermostat is so precise is due to the fact that it's actually controlled by a microprocessor. Now that's state-of-the-art technology! And just how accurate is this thermostat? We're talking within a single degree of the actual mean temperature of your rooms.

Some so-called infrared heaters on the market today don't even have a thermostat. Can you believe it? Those units come with an off/on switch. As you might imagine, they cost less than the Heat-A-Lot. But that's when the expression "you get what you pay for" rings very true indeed. The Heat-A-Lot will regulate it's own operation, and the others will just keep running until they burn out or you shut them off.

The thermostat is married very well with a large, easy-to-read digital temperature display. You can display the thermostat's reading in either celsius or fahrenheit - it's your choice. And you can make this change with a couple easy presses of buttons on the front of the Heat-A-Lot Infrared Heater.

All that's left for you to do is sit back, relax and let your portable quartz infrared furnace do its job of keeping the spaces in your home or office warm...effortlessly.

The Technology Features Of The Heat-A-Lot Infrared Heater

This post is the first of a series of posts that will outline the benefits and features you can enjoy with a Heat-A-Lot Infrared Heater from Mirage Distributors. In this edition, we'll sketch the main technological attributes of the portable, quartz furnace, which will dive into in more detail in later posts.

Something you'll notice right away about the Heat-A-Lot Infrared Furnace is that it comes complete with advanced technology that you can not only just see -- but more importantly -- that you can hear with your ears and feel with your body. You'll hear the difference between this unit and an ordinary space heater, because this product runs virtually silently. And the infrared heat it emits is so much more effective from an energy usage standpoint and also in the way it goes about heating you home or office spaces. But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, let stick with the task at hand: the technology features packed into this marvelous machine.

The Heat-A-Lot Infrared Heater has a highly precise thermostat onboard. It's so precise, that is will read the temperature in the room with one degree of accuracy! Why is so precise? It’s so precise because it's controlled by a microprocessor. It's paired up with a digital temperature display that's easy to read -- even from across the room.

Secondly, it's a quartz infrared heating system which uses four quartz heating elements. We'll get into the detail in later posts, but this technology makes this portable heater more cost efficient and simply more effective when compared to other portable solutions.

Third, it's not only an infrared furnace, it's also works as an air sanitizer. The air that passes through the unit is stripped of virus, mold, bacteria and other airborne pathogens that make you and your family sick.

The fourth post will take about the benefits and advantages of the Heat-A-Lot's stainless steel diffusion coil. It increases the life of the unit as well as diffuses the heat it generates in a more efficient way than its competition.

Number five, its heating chamber is lined with copper. We all know how valuable copper is today! But by using a copper-lined heating chamber, the infrared energy generated is better converted. Not only that, the copper also increases the amount of negative ions produced. This is a great health benefit!

The sixth feature is the longevity of the elements it uses. They are so long-lasting, in fact, that they have a minimum life expectancy of twenty thousand hours. 20,000!

The seventh technological feature that make the Heat-A-Lot Infrared Furnace easy to use is the remote control it comes with standard. Just think, you can sit back after a long day of work, watch some television and control your portable infrared heater from the comfort of your sofa.

The last feature we will cover is the temperature sync feature. This lets you run the unit in conjunction with your central heating unit. Instead of working against it, the Heat-A-Lot can work with you central system.

So that's the brief look into the technology you can count on. You can discover more about our portable quartz infrared heaters at MirageInfraredHeaters.com. Until we dive in deeper, so long....
